Letter to Participants

I would like to take a moment to thank you for registering for the Business Education Teachers Association October Conference.

Registration will take place at 8:30am at the Discovery Centre.

Should you require transportation, we will arrange for a bus to transport those who require transportation to the Discovery Centre. Busses will be leaving at 8:20am from the Delta Halifax hotel.

The first part of our day will be at the Discovery Centre. Following the keynote address and the visit of the Centre, we will all travel by bus to Metroworks, our second location.

Once we arrive at Metroworks all participants will be given two numbered cards. These are to divide us into groups. I will ask that you please respect the process and go to your assigned groups. This is very important both in terms of the logistics of accommodating our large group and as part of the intention of their session.  Lunch will be provided on site.

Our time at Metroworks will be hands on, interactive and lots of fun! I have been asked to remind everyone to be ready for an engaging experience. (Here’s a little hint: you’ll be baking)

After the session at Metroworks the busses will return to the Discovery Centre then to the Delta Halifax for drop off.

If you are interested in joining us on the BETA executive, we have an opening for a member at large. If you have any questions about the role of this position or about any conference detail please email me at danleblanc@nstu.ca

Looking forward to seeing you on October 26th,

Danielle LeBlanc, President BETA

Please note: While we encourage members to have an NSTU web account, one is NOT REQUIRED to register for a conference.
